Students

There are about 250 students (slightly more boys than girls) in Tartu Waldorf School. The average class size is 17 students. According to a survey of parents, their children gladly go to school.

 

Parents

There are children from about 160 families in Tartu Waldorf School. Most of the parents are satisfied with the selection of school. The school’s part in developing social skills, tolerance, and positive attitude towards life is highly regarded. A safe environment is distinctly considered to be one of the strengths by the parents as well.

 

Teachers

There are just under 40 teachers working at school. In 2008, a teacher satisfaction survey revealed that the teachers are highly motivated and satisfied with their working environment. The teachers consider the possibility to interact with the students and track their development as the main motivator. Many teachers who answered the survey also said that working as a teacher offers them great opportunities for self-development.
